Courtyard by Marriott Palmdale at 530 West Rancho Vista Boulevard, Palmdale, California.

We traveled to the area with a team from our son's school. Two standout interactions that I had. (1) Even though I had booked my room separately from the team, and completely last minute, the front desk changed my reservation to honor the room block rate which saved me $150 a night! And (2) when we checked in we were asked to fill out a breakfast order form. The hotel decided to do a buffet since there were so many teams. My husband didn't know that and "ordered" the items we had agreed to get and that amount was billed to our room. Since it was their error, they took it off the bill with no questions asked. Whoever is training this team in customer service deserves a round of applause. We were impressed. Thank you.

I didn't leave a review at the time I stayed. If I had, it probably would have been really pleasant. My 6yr old and I enjoyed a mini staycation in Palmdale. He'd been wanting to spend the night in a hotel. That's not something I can easily afford and he had never stayed in one. I chose this hotel due to the indoor pool. The pool was ice cold but the hot tub was really hot. We enjoyed that! I got overheated though and thankfully another guests warned me about being in the hot tub too long because I didn't see any signs warning against it and dial on the jets had a timer that never went off. We were having a good time, enjoyed our time in the room. After we went to bex, I awoke hours later to go to the restroom, by the time I'd back to the bed, I had noticed pain and itching on my toe. I knew I was bite. Figured it was hidden spider or any we had tracked it.

The next morning we got our belongings together and went downstairs for breakfast. I didn't see any kid friendly items on the list so my son got yogurt with fruit. It was Greek yogurt served with honey, fresh fruit like strawberries and blueberries and granola that contained ALMONDS, which I am alergic to. It didn't say that on the menu. I'm not as highly alergic as some ppl, but I asked that they beware of that detail on their menus. As for my breakfast, delicious. It sounded strange, broccoli pesto egg scramble or someghing to ghat effect. It was so good!!! It didn't look like it would but it was so so so good!!!
Well, first night in a hotel was a success for my son! We continued our staycation after check out. Went to Mulligans for a few hours and then home

That bite on my toe was pretty itchy any painful. It didn't go away for nearly 2wks. I didn't think much of it though. Fast forward and let's go over everything. I have gotten bite by something several times since our staycation. That was 03/03. The other night I was buy an several times. My bites get cherry red, they swell like welts and some get blister heads. We kept saying we didn't have bed bugs cuz we didn't see any signs. The bites have radomly appeared. None some nights, then like 2 nights ago I, 5 bites I the morning! We found 2bed bugs alive under the slats on my son's bed frame as well as In one of the underbed storage toyboxes. It's all being tosed! I know it's been quite awlie since I visited. But this is the only place we have been to outside of our own home. I think we were given a roonm with bed bugs. Now they're all In my stuff
